Megan Heinrich of Bray- Doyle 4-H Tops Market Hog Show at Tulsa State Fair

Megan Heinrich of Bray- Doyle 4-H Tops Market Hog Show at Tulsa State Fair The Premium sale of the top market animals that were shown at the 2008 Tulsa State Fair was held on Friday at midday- and early tallies indicate that just over $500,000 was spent supporting these young people from all over the state of Oklahoma.

The Grand Champion Barrow was shown by Megan Heinrich of the Bray-Doyle 4-H Club. Her Champion Crossbred was named the Grand Chamoion Barrow- and earned her a payday of $10,000 on the top bid of Clark Brewster of Bristow. It was announced that Show Rite Feeds added a thousand dollar bill on top of the auction results. The Reserve grand Champion barrow was the reserve Champion Crossbred, shown by Kyle Wheatley of Morrison FFA. His barrow was purchased by the Oklahoma Farm Bureau and the Oklahoma Pork Council for $5500- with a thousand thrown in for good measure by Show Rite Feeds.
