Carly Smith of Lexington FFA Shows Grand Champion Broiler Pen

Carly Smith of Lexington FFA Shows Grand Champion Broiler Pen The Grand Champion Broiler Pen at the 2009 Tulsa State Fair was shown by Carly Smith of Lexington FFA. This was her third time showing the top pen of broilers at the Tulsa show. Her animals sold for $9000, with the premium being paid by Loretta Murphy. The 2009 Grand Champion Broiler pen brought $4,600 more than in 2008.

The Reserve Grand Champion Broiler Pen was shown by Chance Billups of the Colcord FFA Chapter. His set of Broilers brought a premium of $2,000 and were purchased by the Oklahoma Farm Bureau.
