Ashton Mese Wins Senior Division of AFR Category at AFR State Speech Finals

The American Farmers & Ranchers held their 64th Annual State Speech Finals on Saturday December 6th in Stillwater on the campus of Oklahoma State University. The district winners of more than 300 young people who competed around the state were involved in the competition on Saturday morning. Our picture you see here is of the AFR Category winners- first place winners are on the front row including Beth Hallum, Trevor Woods, Chancey Schoeppell and Ashton Mese.
There were a total of five categories that 4-H and FFA members were competing in- one of those speech categories is called AFR- this category has the contestants talking about how the AFR organization has been a positive part of their community and state.
