Senior Division Winners at AFR Speech Finals Include McKenzie Clifton, Tara Newton, Clarissa Craig and Maverick Squires

The American Farmers & Ranchers held their 64th Annual State Speech Finals on Saturday December 6th in Stillwater on the campus of Oklahoma State University. The district winners of more than 300 young people who competed around the state were involved in the competition on Saturday morning. Our picture you see here is of the AFR Senior Division winners- first place winners are on the front row including McKenzie Clifton, Tara Newton and Maverick Squires- Clarissa Craig was not available for the awards program.
There were a total of five categories that 4-H and FFA members were competing in- one of those speech categories is called Student Organizations- this category has the contestants talking about how the their organization has been a positive part of their community and state. Other categories in the annual speech contest include Natural Resources, Agribusiness and Agriscience.
