Charles Cox Reflects Over His 31 Years Involvement with 4-H at Green Tie Gala
Sat, 07 Nov 2009 17:22:24 CST
It was a great night for Oklahoma 4-H as supporters and members of the organization celebrated 100 years of service to boys and girls in the state with a special evening called the Green Tie Gala.
One of those that we visited with as the Green Tie Gala was beginning on Friday evening was Charles Cox, one of the leaders of Oklahoma 4-H for years. We talked about what 4-H looked like 31 years when he began serving in extension as compared to 2009. Our picture here is of Charles Cox on the left with Dr. James Trapp, associate director for the Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service within the Division of Agriculture at Oklahoma State University.
Cox sees a bright future for Oklahoma 4-H, and you can hear our conversation with him by clicking on the Listen Bar below.
