From the Cattlefax Market Outlook Seminar- Kevin Good with a Price Outlook

Sat, 31 Jan 2009 18:05:11 CST

Kevin Good of Cattlefax offered a review of where meat supplies are as we begin 2009, where they may be going- and then with that in place as the context, a look at a price outlook for the coming year.

In this story- we offer his audio below of the price outlook portion of his comments at the standing room only seminar- a part of the 2009 Cattle Industry Convention in Phoenix.

Slaughter cattle prices will average about $90 per hundred for the year- if Cattlefax is right- with the current prices bouncing along at eighty dollars or just above very possibly the bottom for the year.

You can listen to all of Kevin's thoughts on prices and where they may be here in 2009 by clicking on the Listen Bar below.
