NCBA CEO Thinks Concept of Restructuring NCBA is Solid and Won't Harm Checkoff

Sat, 30 Jan 2010 6:25:14 CST

The Chief Executive Officer of the National Cattlemen's Beef Association, Forest Roberts, defended the Governance Task Force as an important "concept" that needs to move forward where more input can be provided by those interested in- putting specifics of the plan down on paper.

He acknowledged to a group of farm broadcasters that there are a few skeptics of the plan at the meeting- but not many and he believes that the facts answer the questions that have been raised.

Roberts says that they would do what is best for the cattle industry- not just what is best for the NCBA.
