Mon, 03 Nov 2008 11:49:29 CST

How the Cattle Industry Responds to Tough Times- Andy Grosetta, President of the NCBA The President of the National Cattlemen's Beef Association, Andy Grosetta, spoke to the opening General Session of the Texas Cattle Feeders Association on Monday morning at the Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine, Texas- and he challenged producers to be a part of the NCBA, saying that while NCBA membership is up to a little over 31,000 members- he wants to see it grow to at least 40,000 members in the nearterm.

He spoke of the challenges of the current economic conditions, of mandatory COOL and of the need to emphasize the encouragement of young cattle producers to become engaged with the NCBA.

We talked with Andy after the general session and we have that conversation linked below on our Listen Bar- click and take a listen.

We do remind you that our coverage from the TCFA convention is a service in part of Hudson Livestock Supplements.
