Spring Crops Meeting and EPA Mandated Pesticide Training
Thursday, February 20, 2020
Registration begins at 8:30 AM
Canadian County Fair Grounds Education Building
220 N. Country Club Road
El Reno, Oklahoma







The Canadian County OSU Cooperative Extension Service will be hosting the Annual Spring Crops Conference.

The opening session will be the Annual Dicamba Pesticide Re-Certification Class instructed by Josh Bushong, OSU West District Specialist. This session is the continued EPA Mandated Certification Training for ALL PRODUCERS AND APPLICATORS WHO PLAN TO APPLY XTENDIMAX, FEXAPAN, AND ENGENIA IN XTENDFLEX COTTON IN 2020. THEY WILL NEED THIS EPA CERTIFICATE TRAINING AS IT IS AN EPA MANDATED CERTIFICATION!

Followed by Dr. Josh Lofton, OSU Cropping Specialist will be focusing on Soybean Production Tips focusing on Fertility needs, weed management, yield potentials, seeding rates, and a few other production related topics. They will also be providing the latest in research production tips for the upcoming 2020 cropping season.

The Spring Cropping Seminar will begin at 8:30 a.m. with registration, and coffee. Followed by the first speaker at 9:00 a.m. and conclude by 11:00 a.m. The Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service will be providing this conference free of charge to Oklahoma Farmers.   There will be 2 CEU credit's for producers that currently have an Ok. Dept of Ag. Private or Commercial Pesticide Applicators License.

To register call the Canadian County OSU Extension Center by Wednesday, February 19th.
