Noble Research Institute Set to Host Snake Seminar

Knowing what snakes live in Oklahoma can help people properly identify them when they encounter them.

Learning About the Snakes of Oklahoma Seminar
Monday, May 20, 2019
6:00 - 7:15 p.m.
Southern Tech Auditorium
Ardmore, Oklahoma

The Noble Research Institute will host a Learning About the Snakes of Oklahoma semimar.
Noble Research Institute senior wildlife and fisheries consultant Mike Porter will provide attendees with the need-to-know information about snakes in Oklahoma.

Topics will include:
- The basics of snake biology.
- The largest snake species in Oklahoma.
-     The smallest snake species in Oklahoma.
- The venomous snakes in Oklahoma.
-      Common nonvenomous snakes in Oklahoma.
- How to avoid snake bites.
- Snake bite first aid.

There is no registration fee, but preregistration is required. For more information and to register, please visit www.noble.org/events.
