In the Field Spotlights Wrapup of 2008 Harvest In the Field with Ron Hays

Our Saturday July 5th guest was Mark Hodges, Executive Director of the Oklahoma Wheat Commission. We are. for all practical purposes, done with the 2008 Oklahoma winter wheat harvest- and despite it's shortcomings with protein- it is a crop that is a real shot in the arm to the producers and those in the local communities that serve those producers. We visit with Mark about that and we also talk about the current value of the wheat that it takes to produce a one pound loaf of bread.

In the Field is seen Saturday mornings at around 6:40 AM on KWTV News9 in Oklahoma City.
