Downside Risk Remains in Wheat Market- So Says Dr. Kim Anderson in This Weekend's SUNUP on OETA

Fri, 22 Jan 2010 7:11:02 CST

Click on the Listen Bar below for the latest with Dr. Kim Anderson from this weekend's SUNUP with Clinton Griffiths of OSU. SUNUP is produced by OSU Ag Communications- and can be seen Saturday mornings on OETA.

Anderson says that the wheat market is showing a lot of weakness right now- and if the March Kansas City contract should dip below the current support level of $5.00- another twenty five to thirty cents downside is possible.

Besides the regular segment with Dr. Kim Anderson, Clinton gives us this rundown of what can be seen on this week's edition:

SUNUP begins a multi-week series on No-Till farming leading up to the No-Till Oklahoma conference coming to Norman February 8 and 9.

-The Shop Stop crew talks about sharpening chain saw chains.

-Glenn Selk discusses the importance of timely assistance for calving cows in their ability to breed back next season.

-SUNUP talks to Terry Bidwell about keeping cattle safe around frozen ponds.

-AGWEATHER ranks the recent cold snap against previous frigid temperatures in Oklahoma’s history.

-We end the show with the latest program from Ag in the Classroom. It’s a child’s exercise routine called Action Agriculture.
