Oklahoma Congressman Frank Lucas Says Writing Next Farm Bill is Quite a Challenge That is Ahead

The House Ag Committee has begun their first hearing on what may turn out to be the 2012 or 2013 farm bill. Opening statements have been offered- first from the Chairman Collin Peterson of Minnesota. After Mr. Peterson came the ranking Minority member of the Committee, Frank Lucas of Oklahoma. US Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack has now begun his appearance before the Committee.
