R-CALF USA Urging Meeting Attendance
Wed, 04 Aug 2010 17:44:40 CDT
R-CALF USA is urging all independent U.S. cattle producers - and everyone concerned about the future of rural America - to make time to attend the upcoming one-day joint competition workshop hosted by USDA and the U.S. Department of Justice. The meeting will take place Friday, August 27th on the campus of Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado.
R-CALF CEO Bill Bullard calls this a historic opportunity because the invitation extends to all of rural America and is not for the purpose of exploring whether there has been a loss of competition in the U.S. cattle industry. Instead - according to Bullard - this meeting will help determine if it is the will of rural Americans that immediate, aggressive action be taken to restore competition to the U.S. cattle industry.
