It All Boils Down to Waiting- Riley Pagett Waits to Hear His Name Called from the Stage of the 2010 National FFA Convention

The interview process is complete- and now it's a time to wait. For the second year in a row, Riley Pagett of the Woodward FFA Chapter has completed the interview process and will hope to hear his name called out on Saturday afternoon during the final session of the 83rd Annual National FFA Convention. In 2009, Riley Pagett did not hear his name and returned back to Oklahoma- thinking all the time about "what about next year?

But the Riley Pagett of 2010 is a lot more at peace about the process than the young man we spent time with last year in Indianapolis. We sat down and talked for a few minutes with Riley- about 24 hours before the calling of the names will begin here in Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Pagett tells us he is ready to serve if his name is called- if not, he says he will have enjoyed the process and will be happy to return to Oklahoma State University to continue his studies next semester.

If his name is called- he will spend a couple of days here in Indianapolis to begin the process of getting into the mindset that will sustain him for the next year- then back to Stillwater to quickly wrap up school work in a way that will allow him to return to Indianapolis right after Thanksgiving. That's when serving the organization would kick into high gear.
