Oklahoma Wheat Commission Meets for Final Time in 2010 on Oklahoma State University Campus

The final monthly board meeting of 2010 for the Oklahoma Wheat Commission will be in Stillwater on Friday, December 10, 2010. The Commission begins their meeting at 9:00 AM at 106 Ag Hall on the Campus of Oklahoma State University.


Besides their regular business- we have the full agenda below- the Commissioners will hear from US Wheat Associates CEO Alan Tracy and the Executive Director of the National Association of Wheat Growers, Dana Peterson.

10. Discussion on helping purchase a NRI protein tester for Oklahoma State University in order to provide rapid
      grain analysis for cultivar selection and end-use marketing--$10,000.

11. Discussion on date for the wheat check off increase to go into effect if approved by the Oklahoma legislature.

12. Discuss the booth for the KNID Enid Farm Show-January 6-8, 2011.
