NCBA Hosting Five Nations Beef Alliance
Wed, 05 Jan 2011 20:32:55 CSTThis weekend a group of 20 young ranchers from Australia, Argentina, Mexico, the United States and Canada will arrive in Denver for the Second Annual Young Ranchers Program a week-long international exchange program designed to build an international network to help shape the future direction of the industry.
During the week, the group will meet with local cattle industry stakeholders to exchange experiences and ways of doing business, as well as continue building upon a network of young up-and-coming leaders in an industry that's increasingly dependent on global cooperation.
The Young Ranchers Program was launched last year during the National Western Stock Show and International Livestock Congress in Denver by the FNBA in partnership with the Consulate General of Canada in Denver and the NCBA.
