Fri, 21 Jan 2011 17:27:50 CST
The Center for Biological Diversity and the Pesticide Action Network North America have filed what they believe is - the most comprehensive legal action ever brought under the Endangered Species Act. The organizations are suing the Environmental Protection Agency for its alleged failure to consult with federal wildlife agencies regarding the impact of pesticides to endangered and threatened species.
The Center for Biological Diversity specifically targeted Atrazine as a dangerous herbicide that EPA should not have re-registered. National Sorghum Producers holds strong opposition to the center's ideals. According to NSP, - these extreme groups are a continual threat to the agriculture community as they incessantly try and use the courts to take away our farmers' products.
