Oklahoma Grain Elevator Cash Bids as of Wednesday afternoon February 9, 2011

Wed, 09 Feb 2011 17:11:47 CST

PLEASE note- these are cash grain prices from TUESDAY as the State of Oklahoma closed on Wednesday due to the winter storm that went through the state.

Here is the text of the National Grain Report from Wedneday afternoon- which includes hard red winter wheat cash prices up about 16 cents per bushel- pushing the upper end of local grain elevator bids in Oklahoma around nine dollars per bushel.

"All grains were sharply higher on bullish news concerning USDA's Supply and
Demand report. Corn is testing the 7.00 mark on shrinking global and domestic
stocks. Corn's domestic ending stocks to use are matching the tightest level on
record at 5 percent. Corn will have a very tight margin of error when planting
season arrives as acreage and yields will be watched carefully. Soybeans were a
beneficiary of the corn market as soybean stocks were neutral. Wheat had world
ending stocks decreasing slightly and domestic stocks unchanged. Wheat closed
15-17 cents higher. Corn traded mostly 24 cents higher. Soybeans closed 15-19
cents higher."

Note that in bold below we have the updated and correct closing price for Wednesday for Canola.
