About 7:40 AM on Thursday morning, February 10, 2011- Nowata's mesonet station sent in a reading of 31 degrees below zero. That easily eclipses the old mark of 27 degrees below zero recorded two previous times before today.
The map here shows the high and low temperatures of the day across the state- you will see the Nowata minus 31 degree reading in the northeastern corner of the state.
