Canola TV - Ron Hays discusses the Growth of Interest in Canola in Northern Oklahoma with Jeff Scott

In our newest edition of Canola TV, Ron Hays sits down with Jeff Scott again, a canola producer from Grant County, and discusses the growth of canola in northern Oklahoma. Scott says there were more canola fields planted in the northern region than last year with more than 8,000 acres planted this year. Scott says he is glad to see this jump and increase in canola fields. Farmers are beginning to see what canola can do for their wheat crop, says Scott.

Scott also says canola is dependable year after year and predicts another jump in acres of canola for the fall crop season. Click on the play button in the video below to enjoy our visit with Jeff Scott about canola growing in the northern parts of Oklahoma.
