No-till on the Plains "Agriculture's Innovative Minds Symposium" Registration Deadline This Week

No-till on the Plains will be hosting an Agriculture's Innovative Minds Symposium on November 15 - 17, 2011 in Nebraska City, Neb. The three day symposium will be focusing on holistic management and helping producers that have been questioning their decision-making skills in 2011.
The deadline to register for the symposium is Tuesday, November 1. This workshop will enable producers to better arrive at those important day-to-day decisions and ensure that their operation is on the right path.
The objectives of this workshop is for particpants to learn how to develop a value-based goal to lead to decision-making, match livestock cycles with environmental cycles to optimize production, apply the tools of grazing and animal impact to regenerate land, plan for a profit every year, learn how to integrate livestock and cover crops into your farm program, empower a management team that is creative and flexible, learn how to create wildlife habitat and manage for grazing 365 days a year, and to use holistic management and make decisions that are financially, ecologically, and socially sound.
This AIM Symposium will feature Josh Dukart, Holistic Management Certified Educator, from Bismarck, North Dakota. He lives out his personal beliefs and manages his professional life under the umbrella of Holistic Decision-Making. His aim is for sustainable balance of people, finances, and land. Joshua Dukart is also a member of the Burleigh County Soil Conservation District team in Bismarck, North Dakota, working with producers on planned grazing, biologically diverse cropping management, and integration of cover crops. In addition, he serves as Field Representative for the North Dakota Grazing Lands Coalition by providing assistance for farm & ranch planning, land monitoring, and coordinating information & education activities throughout the state.
He is currently involved in management of Dukart Farms near Hazen, North Dakota, which consists of cow-calf, equine, stocker, and forage crop enterprises. This family ranch focuses on regenerative land management through enhancement of soil health. Joshua has the good fortune of working with some of the most innovative and progressive producers in the United States and Canada. His travels have afforded him the opportunity to observe and learn from some of the best holistic educators and practitioners in the world. With his experiences and continued learning on the land, his consulting business has evolved to work with producers and organizations in assisting them in achieving their optimal triple bottom line. Joshua also speaks and teaches regularly throughout the United States and Canada. Joshua's service activities place importance on helping individuals, families, and businesses achieve their desired quality of life and develop profitable enterprises, all while creating their preferred landscape.
