Spring Canola Tours Announced by Oklahoma State University

The 2012 spring Canola Field Tour schedule has been released by Josh Bushong, OSU Extension Canola Specialist. There will be a total of 13 stops on this look at Canola across the western half of the state over a four day period. They will look at several production topics for the crop as it will be in full bloom or slightly beyond that stage- harvest options will be discussed as well as marketing and the varieties that are growing in the field plots.
Here's the county by county rundown- check with your local extension office for driving directions to each specific field location.
Monday April 9th:
10:00 am - 11:30 am: Jackson/Harmon Co.
2:00 pm - 3:30 pm: Kiowa Co.
5:30 pm - 7 pm: Caddo Co.
Tuesday April 10th:
9:00 am - 10:30 am: Alfalfa Co.
3:00 pm - 4:30 pm: Blaine Co.
6:30 pm - 8 pm: Canadian Co.
Wednesday April 11th:
9:00 am - 10:30 am: Cotton Co.
1:00 pm - 2:30 pm: Stephens Co.
4:30 pm - 6 pm: Grady Co.
Thursday April 12th:
9:00 am - 10:30 am: Dewey Co.
1:30 pm - 3:00 pm: Grant Co.
4:00 pm - 5:30 pm: Garfield Co.
6:30 pm - 7 pm: Noble Co.

Some speakers may not be available at every location, but all topics will still be covered. We'll spend about 1.5 hrs at each stop.
