Growers Can Maximize Harvest Data with Pioneer FITŪ Services

With harvest underway, Pioneer sales professionals are providing Pioneer FIT® mapping services to growers from data collected from their yield monitor and GPS receiver. By using the value-added precision agriculture tools offered through Pioneer FIT Services, growers can take advantage of comprehensive mapping and planning services to help them make the best planting and management decisions for next season.

The historical, multi-year yield maps provided by FIT® Studio help growers make informed decisions about management practices such as variable rate seeding, while also providing key insights into the best field-by-field plans for their farm. With this information, sales professionals can help growers compare and contrast years, create management zones, and remove uncharacteristic growing seasons from their analysis.

"Pioneer FIT Services work well because of the combination of local knowledge and relationships shared between Pioneer sales professionals and growers," says John Chism, DuPont Pioneer services and implementation manager. "Our team understands what is happening at the local level and is ready to help growers make the best decisions for their farm."

Basic mapping services are not new for DuPont Pioneer customers. Pioneer has been providing a harvest mapping service for nearly a decade, while continually expanding the Pioneer FIT Services portfolio with FIT® Field Planner, FIT® As-Planted Maps, and most recently, FIT Studio variable rate seeding services.

"Pioneer is committed to providing the latest technology to increase individual farm potential," says Chism. "Our local sales professionals regularly walk growers' fields and work with them throughout the year. In turn, Pioneer sales professional provides growers with detailed field-by-field plans and analysis to help them make the best management decisions for future seasons."

Customers quickly receive their maps and analytical reports due to the power of the Pioneer FIT Studio program and the relationship between Pioneer and MapShots, a leading precision agriculture company specializing in crop-management applications. Pioneer strives to provide high-quality, professional maps with field-by-field data to growers within two weeks time to help them quickly turn their data into information that can be used for profitable decision making.
