Beavers re-elected to Oklahoma Farm Bureau Women's Committee

OFB Women's Committee Chairman Kitty Beavers, of Duncan, was re-elected to serve a second two-year term during the OFB 71st Annual Convention Nov. 9, in Oklahoma City.
Beavers has served on the Women's Committee since 2006 and was first elected as chairman in 2010. She has attended numerous county, state and national conferences, representing Farm Bureau and women from across the state.
The FBW committee helps to promote the importance of family and health, safety and crime prevention, state and national agricultural issues, voter awareness and citizenship, Agriculture in the Classroom and the Country Women's Council.
Beavers and her husband, Charley, have been OFB members since 1977 and raise wheat and cattle on their farm outside of Duncan.
Nadine Butler and Roberta Hughes were also re-elected to serve as members on the OFB Women's Committee. Butler, of Atoka, represents OFB District 5, and Hughes, of Konawa, represents OFB District
