Rainfall Totals From Thursday Show Very Light Coverage in Eastern Half of Oklahoma- Take a Look
Fri, 08 Feb 2013 05:36:16 CST
Rainfall totals for the state of Oklahoma were confined on Thursday to the eastern half of the state- and the vast majority of the Oklahoma Mesonet reporting sites received just a few hundreths of an inch of rain. The largest recorded rainfall amounts that are seen in the graphic above include Centrahoma with .57 of an inch of rain, Cookson with .54 of an inch and Broken Bow and Webbers Falls both reporting .49 of an inch of the wet stuff.
Oklahoma still appears to be in line for widespread rain showers over the weekend- although the expected totals will likley be less than an inch in most locations. The recent trend of lighter amounts in the west and heavier rainfall totals in the east will stay intact with this system that will be approaching the state.
The latest forecast map for the US is still showing that rainfall is headed our way- click here to take a look.
