Heavy Rainfall and High Winds Roll Across Eastern Oklahoma- The Latest Graphic

Heavy rains roll into Green Country and along with those rains- high straightline winds that have caused damage in the Tulsa metro. According to the News on 6- "Strong storms blew through Green Country Tuesday night, hitting Tulsa hard around 11:30 p.m.
"Winds were estimated in excess of 70 mph, even up to 80 mph in some areas.
"The heavy winds and lightning left over 70,000 customers without power in Tulsa County, according to PSO. Osage County, hit before Tulsa, as the storm moved southeast, was left with over 1,200 without power, and over 5,000 in Wagoner County.
"Meteorologist Mike Grogan reported a lot of damage to trees and power lines from downtown Tulsa to 31st and Yale in midtown. He said it looked like the majority of midtown is without power and many limbs were down."
The rainfall snapshot above is as of 5:05 AM- and shows heavy rainfall totals of more than five inches of rain in Tahlequah, and over four and half inches of rain in Wister.
