Receipts: 4664    Last Week: 6121    Year Ago: 4162

Compared to last week: Feeder steers weighting 600-700 lbs 6.00-7.00higher over 700 lbs 2.00-4.00 higher. Feeder heifers 2.00-3.00 higher. Steer and heifer calves mostly 3.00-5.00 higher. Demand very good for all classes. Quality was average to attractive, with mostly thin to average flesh conditions. Several inches of rain has fallen over the area within the last week, keeping rangelands and pastures in good conditions for July and August. Supply included 83 percent over 600 lbs and 33 percent heifers.

Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1: Calves: 340-375 lbs 198.00-214.00;425-500 lbs 182.00-196.00; load fancy 495 lbs 194.75; 500-550 lbs 170.00-177.25, fancy 525 lb 188.00; 550-600 lbs 163.50-167.50; 600-700 lbs 149.00-164.00; load 750 lbs 149.00; Yearlings: 600-700 lbs 158.00-167.00; 700-800 lbs 148.50-158.00; 800-900 lbs 142.00-148.20, fleshy 141.00; 900-1000 lbs 133.00-141.50; 1025-1050 lbs 131.50-131.75.

Medium and Large 1-2: 495 lbs 171.00; 500-550 lbs 167.00-169.00; 550-600 lbs 152.00-155.50; few thin fleshed 575 lbs 159.50; 625-700 lbs 146.00-159.00; 715-800 lbs 140.00-148.50; 800-875 lbs 137.50-141.50; load 950 lbs 131.50.
