Compared to two weeks ago: Feeder steers and heifers steady to 1.00 higher. Steer and heifer calves mostly steady, except un-weaned or short weaned calves 2.00-3.00 lower. Demand good for most classes. Weather is unusually hot and dry for this time of the year. This heat is diminishingdemand for those young un-weaned calves. Quality mostly average. Weigh-ups average to full with more cattle in full conditions later in the day.

Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1: Calves: pkg 305 lbs thin fleshed 240.00; pkg 390 lbs 222.00; 425-450 lbs 195.00-206.50; lot 455 lbs 180.00;500-575 lbs 176.00-182.50, few fleshly 165.00-169.00; 600-650 lbs 160.00-166.50; 675-700 lbs 150.00-156.50; 700-750 lbs 147.00-151.50; Yearlings: 600-700 lbs 160.00-169.00; 700-800 lbs 149.50-160.00, few lots 700 lbs thin fleshed 162.75-163.00; 800-850 lbs 147.00-152.25; 850-900 lbs 146.00-148.50; 900-1000 lbs 138.50-144.75.
   
Medium and Large 1-2: 650-700 lbs 155.00-156.00; 700-800 lbs 148.00-158.00; 800-875 lbs 144.00-150.25; lot 900 lbs 138.25.

Feeder Heifers Medium and Large 1: Calves: 425-500 lbs 158.00-166.00; 500-550 lbs 156.00-162.00; 550-600 lbs 153.00-157.75, fleshy 149.00-152.00;600-700 lbs 145.00-151.25. Yearlings: 600-650 lbs 152.00-157.00; 650-700 lbs 147.00-151.00; 700-750 lbs 142.00-150.50; 750-800 lbs 138.00-145.00; 800-900 lbs 133.00-139.25.
