Compared to last week: Feeder cattle not well tested in early rounds. Steer and heifer calves lightly tested and a weak undertone noted. Canadian Cold front is headed this way and expected to move in later this evening. Highs on Tuesday are only to be in the upper 30's with wind chills in the 20's. This weather is limiting demand for calves.

Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1: Calves: 350-400 lbs 229.00-237.00; 400-450 lbs 195.00-225.00; 450-500 lbs 196.00-206.00; 525-550 lbs 184.50-192.00; 550-600 lbs 175.00-184.00, pkg thin fleshed 192.00; pkg 605 lbs 171.50; 650-675 lbs 158.00-165.00; Yearlings: 700-750 lbs 166.50-169.50; load 815 lbs 164.00; load 1075 lbs 138.00.

Feeder Heifers Medium and Large 1: Calves: pkg 380 lbs thin fleshed 221.00; 425-500 lbs 170.00-185.00; 500-550 lbs 161.00-166.00, thin fleshed 178.50-181.00; 550-600 lbs 157.00-164.00; pkg 665 lbs 144.00; pkg 710 lbs 148.00; Yearlings: 600-650 lbs 159.50-164.00; pkg 700 lbs 160.00.
