Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers sold steady to 1.00higher. Steer and heifer calves 3.00 to 5.00 higher. A heavy supply of reputation and weand steer and heifer calves were on offer this week for the annual Red Angus program feeder calf sale. Demand good to very good for calves weaned longer than 60 days with multiple rounds of vaccinations. Un-weaned and bawling calves sold with light demand. A strong cold front rolled into the area this week causing a hard freeze over-night. Supply included 62 percent over 600 lbs. and 42 percent heifers.
