Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 11/18/2013


   

Estimated Receipts: 10,500    Last Week: 9655    Year Ago: 5224

Compared to last week: Feeder steers mostly steady in early rounds with exception of cattle over 800 lbs trading 2.00-3.00 higher. Feeder heifers steady to weak on limited offerings. Steer and heifer claves are selling mostly 3.00-5.00 higher with very good demand especially for long weaned and vaccinated calves selling as much as 8.00 higher. Demand remains good for all classes.   

Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1: Calves: 325-400 lbs 223.00-245.00; 400-450 lbs 218.00-231.00 lbs; 485-500 lbs 197.00-222.00; 500-550 lbs 195.00-202.00; 550-600 lbs 183.00-191.00; 625-650 lbs 167.50-174.00; 650-700 lbs 159.00-165.00; pkg 720 lbs 155.00; 800-850 lbs 152.00-158.50. Yearlings: 600-650 lbs 175.00-181.10; 650-700 lbs 168.25-175.00; 700-775 lbs 162.50-170.00; 800-850 lbs 160.00-167.50; 900-950 lbs 155.00-156.00.

Feeder Heifers Medium and Large 1: Calves: 370-380 lbs value added 224.50-225.00; 425-500 lbs 180.00-194.00, value added 204.00-216.00; 500-550 lbs 167.00-178.00; 550-600 lbs 159.00-168.00; 650-675 lbs 151.00-155.00; 725-750 lbs 153.75-154.00. Yearlings: 640-680 lbs 160.00-161.00; 745-775 lbs 152.50-159.00; pkg 808 lbs 148.75.
