Estimated Receipts: 6500   Last Monday: 11,163   Year Ago Monday: 11,453

Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers 3.00-6.00 higher, instance 8.00-10.00 higher on steers over 800 lbs and heifers over 700 lbs. Steer and heifer calves 10.00-15.00 higher. Demand very good for all classes. Market continues very bullish following a sharp rise in the cattle futures and a 2.00 increase in slaughter cattle prices. Rains fell again over the weekend with 2-4 inches very common in most all areas of the state.


Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1: Calves: 425-460 lbs 272.00-285.00; 445-500 lbs fleshy 242.00-256.00; 500-550 lbs 235.00-250.00, thin fleshed 261.00; 550-600 lbs 227.00-245.00; 600-700 lbs 203.75-215.00; 700-725 lbs 198.50; Yearlings: 600-650 lbs 217.00-231.00, lot 600 lbs thin fleshed 239.00; 650-700 lbs 206.50-219.25; 700-725 lbs 201.50-210.00; 745-800 lbs 192.00-204.00, fleshy 189.50; 800-900 lbs 183.00-194.50; 900-950 lbs 174.00-185.25; 1000-1050 lbs 168.00-170.50.

Medium and Large 1-2: Calves: 525-600 lbs 216.00-226.00; 625-700 lbs 202.50-220.00; 745-800 lbs 188.00-198.00; 800-850 lbs 186.00-190.00; 900-985 lbs 167.35-173.00; lot 1020 lbs 161.50.
