Oklahoma Cattlemen Extremely Pleased Tax Extenders Passed by US Senate

Oklahoma Cattlemen Extremely Pleased Tax Extenders Passed by US Senate The Executive Vice President of the Oklahoma Cattlemen's Association. Michael Kelsey, has released the following statement on behalf of Oklahoma cattle producers after the US Senate passed the "Tax Extenders" package on Tuesday evening.


"We are extremely pleased that the Senate voted overwhelmingly this evening to extend the tax language previously passed by the House. The language includes much needed provisions addressing deduction and depreciation levels vital to Oklahoma beef cattle producers. Now Oklahoma beef producers can make end of year decisions that benefit not only their family businesses but also their local communities and our state. This has been priority one for OCA in December and we are thankful it is now on its way to the White House for the President's signature."
