Feeder Cattle Narrative Report for 12/10/2014

Receipts: 5510    Last week: 8820    Year Ago: 1576

Compared to last week: Feeder steers traded mostly steady. Feeder heifers sold 5.00-8.00 lower in a light test. Calves sold steady to weak. Demand moderate for all classes. Average seasonal temperatures are expected throughout the week, with a cold front expected on Sunday. Quality was mostly plain to average with few attractive lots. Supply included 65 percent over 600 lbs; 40 percent heifers.
