OSU Livestock Judging Team Earns Overall Team Championship at National Western in Denver

The 2014 OSU Livestock Judging Team returned to competition in Denver, CO at the National Western Stock Show on Thursday and Friday of last week.
Oklahoma State was the High Team in Cattle on their way to being named the Champion Team Overall. Kansas State, Colorado State, Texas Tech, and Texas A&M rounded out the top five teams.
For the OSU squad, Blythe Graham of Crossville, TN was the 2nd High Individual Overall, 3rd in Reasons, 1st in Sheep/Goats and 7th in Cattle at the Denver contest. Kyndal Reitzenstein of Kersey, CO was 3rd High Individual Overall, 1st in Reasons and 1st in Cattle. Matt Walta of Kingfisher, OK was 8th High Individual Overall and placed 6th in Cattle. Finally, Kale Hensley of Markleville, IN placed 10th in Cattle.
The Carload Judging Team finished as Reserve Champions on Friday.
The OSU team was led by Trent Ray of Abingdon, IL- earning 4th High Individual.

The team is coached by Dr. Blake Bloomberg and assisted by Taylor Graham.
