Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 09/30/2015

Receipts: 5051    Last Week: 4790    Year Ago: 5226

Compared to last week: Feeder steers mostly 1.00-4.00 lower with instances of 8.00 lower on 750-800 lbs. Feeder heifers 1.00-4.00 lower. Steer calves 4.00-6.00 lower in a limited test. No trend established for heifer calves; however, a lower undertone was noted. Quality was plain to attractive. Demand was moderate at best for feeders as the CME Board continues to decline. Fall is in full swing here in Oklahoma with cool, crisp mornings and mild afternoons. Supply included 82 percent over 600 lbs and 27 percent heifers.

   Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1: Calves: 300-350 lbs 242.50-287.50; 375-400 lbs 227.50-230.00; 425-500 lbs 218.00-225.00; 500-600 lbs 192.00-201.00, thin fleshed 211.00; 600-700 lbs 176.00-183.50; 715-725 lbs 172.00-172.50; Yearlings: 625-700 lbs 183.50-197.25, thin fleshed 197.00; 700-800 lbs 178.00-187.75, fleshy 174.50; 800-900 lbs 169.000-178.00; 900-1000 lbs 160.00-171.75, fleshy 157.00; 1000-1025 lbs 150.00-157.00.
   Medium and Large 1-2: 350-400 lbs 217.50-223.00; 450-500 lbs 193.00-211.00; 550-600 lbs 182.00-190.00; 600-650 lbs 170.00-176.00; 700-800 lbs 167.00-175.00; few 845 lbs 170.00; load 950 lbs 150.00.
   
   Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1: lot 475 lbs 206.00; 525-550 lbs 186.00-192.00; 600-625 lbs 158.00-167.50.

   Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1: Calves: lot 375 lbs 205.00; 425-475 lbs 194.00-202.00; lot 540 lbs 185.50; lot 675 lbs 166.00; few 750 lbs 160.00; Yearlings: 650-700 lbs 184.00, fancy, thin fleshed 187.00-190.00; 700-800 lbs 167.00-178.00, thin fleshed 176.50; 800-875 lbs 155.00-167.25, replacement 168.00; 950-1000 lbs 154.50-158.00, replacemnt 160.00, fleshy 141.00; 1040-1050 lbs 135.00-140.00; lot 1125 lbs 130.00.
