Compared to last week: Feeder steers sold mostly steady to 6.00 higher. Feeder heifers 600-750 lbs 1.00-4.00 lower, 800-950 lbs 5.00 higher. Steer calves sold 2.00-4.00 higher and heifer calves steady to 2.00 higher on a light test. Demand moderate to good. Quality mostly average to attractive. Many larger loads than normal on offering today. Demand limited today due to blizzard like conditions mainly in Nebraska and also other Northern states causing feedlots there to not need any orders filled to avoid cattle pots being stranded on roads up there. Feeder cattle supply included 66 percent Steers, 0 percent Dairy Steers, 33 percent Heifers, and 2 percent Bulls. Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 69 percent.
