Oklahoma-Based Industry Leader Johnston Seed Company to Celebrate Milestone 125th Anniversary A milestone is fast approaching for Johnston Seed Company, an Oklahoma-based leader in seed products, as it celebrates its 125th anniversary in 2018.

To commemorate the occasion, a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house is planned for March 9th, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Johnston’s headquarters, 319 West Chestnut, Enid, OK, with the ribbon cutting to be held at 11 a.m. The event will include food, facility tours, and a vendor showcase.

“We are very excited to invite everyone to help celebrate our 125th anniversary,” says Joey Meibergen, CEO and President.   “It is because of our employees and our customers that we have continued to invest in our infrastructure. These new warehouses and improved retail store will ensure service to our customers for another 125 years.”

Central to the company’s 125th anniversary celebration has been a two year process of rebranding and investing in the infrastructure of Johnston Seed Company. In 2017, the company unveiled a new company logo, branding and messaging along with the launch of a new website, www.johnstonseed.com. Designed to provide valuable resources to Johnston Seed Company customers, the website is a consumer-friendly place to order products online. Johnston’s also expanded its headquarters to include a 3,000 square foot retail center, a location where customers can work one on one with Johnston Seed representatives to fulfill their unique needs. Two warehouse expansions totaling over 35,750 square feet of new processing and warehouse space were also completed in late 2017.
