This is the Market Close Report-

   
Compared to last week: Feeder steers 600-750 lbs. sold 1.00-4.00 higher, 750-1000 lbs. brought steady to 3.00 lower. Feeder heifers traded 2.00-6.00 higher.   Lightweight steer calves had no test, 500-600 lbs. traded 1.00-2.00 higher. Heifer calves 1.00-4.00 higher. Trade active, demand good. Quality average to attractive.   

The droughtcontinues to wreak havoc on the wheat grazing inventory in the trading area but demand remains firm for cattle suited to graze in the future. Quite a few thinner conditioned cattle on offer today. Feeder cattle supply included 66 percent Steers, 0 percent Dairy Steers, 32 percent Heifers, and 1 percent Bulls. Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 67 percent.
