Compared to last week: Feeder steers 3.00-6.00 lower and feeder
heifers mostly 3.00 lower on a lighter test so far. Steer calves bringing
1.00-3.00 lower. Heifer calves trading unevenly steady. Demand moderate.
Quality mostly average. The bearish market continues with the COF report
Friday showing higher numbers and CME Futures today is experiencing new
lows in it's downward trend. Feedlot pen space remains limited in the
trading region. Feeder cattle supply included 61 percent Steers, 38
percent Heifers, and 1 percent Bulls. Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs
was 72 percent.
