Compared to last week:   Feeder steers and heifers traded mostly steady to 2.00 higher. Steer and heifer calves sold unevenly steady on a light test with limited comparable weight ranges. Demand good. Quality plain to average, few attractive. CME Live Cattle contracts rebounded today to close higher while Feeder contracts stayed relatively steady. Beef exports continue to see record high levels while avoiding tariffs other commodities have experienced, keeping buyers confident during the dog days of Summer. Feeder cattle supply included 62 percent Steers, 37 percent Heifers, and 2 percent Bulls. Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 79 percent.
