Cattle Producers Invited to Take Part in Pre-Conference Beef Quality Assurance Training this OctoberFri, 05 Oct 2018 12:36:43 CDT
On October 19 Oklahoma State University will host its Beef Industry Conference, where cattle producers can learn about the latest best management practices to help maximize their profit potential. The OSU Beef Industry Conference is a select educational program oriented toward cattle operators (whether seedstock, cow-calf, stocker, or feedlot) and beef industry leaders in Oklahoma. Its purpose is to address issues and research of importance to the beef industry in Oklahoma. The conference will begin at 8:30 a.m., finish about mid-afternoon and take place in the OSU Conoco-Phillips Alumni Center located on Hester Street, on the southeastern side of the university’s Stillwater campus. Cost is $75 per participant if registering before Oct. 13 and $100 thereafter.
A pre-conference hands-on Beef Quality Assurance Training, sponsored by the Oklahoma Beef Council, will be held the day before, during the evening of October 18 at the Totusek Arena.
