For All Your Haying Needs, Kubota Has a Full Line of Tools and Implements to Fit Any Operation Radio Oklahoma Ag Network Associate Farm Director Carson Horn recently had the chance to catch up with David Palmer of Kubota, who highlighted some of the hay tools and implements that the Kubota Company has to offer producers as they look ahead to the next cutting season. According to Palmer, Kubota has a complete line-up of machinery that can fully meet producers’ needs in the hayfield. Listen to their complete conversation by clicking or tapping the LISTEN BAR below at the bottom of the page.

“Our customers there in Oklahoma are very important to us,” Palmer said. “Especially when it come to putting up hay. We’ve got a full range of products - from plain pull-type disc mowers (which really fits in with a lot of our dry hay markets out there) to something we introduced last year, our new line of wheel rakes. Plus, we have a complete line of round balers, both for 4 ft. and 5x6 bales.”

Kubota has been in the Oklahoma market now for roughly four years. Palmer says with the help of a skilled and knowledgeable dealer network, the company’s presence has grown dramatically in that time as producers have come to embrace the brand.

“Kubota entered the ag market… this is going into our fifth year now. Over that five years, we’ve really established ourselves as a mainline supplier of hay and forage products in the industry,” he said. “Oklahoma and Arkansas, Missouri are all critical markets for us.”

When asked the question of why producers should look to Kubota to fulfill their haying needs, Palmer remarked that Kubota has a long history of innovation and quality weaved into its company profile.

“When you go back and look at the company that Kubota acquired a couple of years ago, the Kverneland Group - it’s one of the largest agricultural manufacturers in western Europe. A lot of the hay products that we’re using today were developed and patented by this company,” he said. “So, there’s been a lot innovation over the years and there’s a lot of synergies of expertise and development in understanding what our customers need in this particular market.”
