Compared to last week: Feeder steers 1.00-6.00 higher. Feeder heifers and heifer calves steady to 3.00 lower. Steer calves mostly steady to 3.00 higher with instances of 8.00 higher on 450-500 lbs. Demand moderate to good, especially good for lighter feeders headed to grass pasture. Quality plain to attractive. CME cattle futures lost $4-$5 over last week but rebounded and closed up triple digits for some contract months today. Limited wheat grazing pasture over this Winter,in the trading area, adding to already filled up feedlot pens. Supply included: 100% Feeder Cattle (60% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 39% Heifers, 1% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 55%.
