Fri, 11 Mar 2022 08:33:56 CST

Register by March 11 for Farm Bureau Target Training Grassroots Farm Bureau members who are passionate about sharing the story of agriculture won't want to miss AFBF 2022 Target Training with the theme, "Promoting Positive Perceptions." The American Farm Bureau Federation is hosting this premier consumer engagement training for Farm Bureau members from any state April 7-9 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

"This training offers a great opportunity for Farm Bureau members to take their consumer engagement to the next level," said AFBF President Zippy Duvall. "It's critical that we build on the high level of trust consumers have in farmers and ranchers and help them better understand where their food, fuel and fiber comes from."

Conference presenters include Donna Moenning, speaker and trainer, Center for Food Integrity; Jim Bair, president & CEO, U.S. Apple Association; Johnna Miller, senior director, media & advocacy training, AFBF; and Jordan Henry, director, leadership & organizational training, AFBF. View the event agenda and register here. The conference webpage will be updated as additional speakers and activities are announced.

The final deadline to register for this event is noon Eastern on March 11 (the registration fee is $125 per person).

Registration includes access to all training sessions, Thursday's welcome reception, Friday's networking lunch, the evening entertainment, closing session and a tour ticket (additional tour costs are indicated on the registration site). Attendees will be responsible for all costs associated with the conference including, but not limited to flights, lodging, meals (outside of the networking lunch) and transportation. Onsite registrations will not be accepted.

Target Training is hosted by AFBF's Promotion & Education Committee. The P&E mission is to develop and centralize resources that inspire and equip Farm Bureau members to convey the significance of agriculture.
