Talking End of Congressional Session Cattle Issues with Colin Woodall of NCBA

As we countdown the final days of 2014, Congress has now finished their work in their lameduck session and have concluded the113th Congress. When lawmakers return in 2015, they will be reorganizing with a GOP majority in both the House and the Senate. To help us sort out the final actions of this Congress and how they impact cattle producers, Farm Director Ron Hays talked with Colin Woodall, head of the Washington, DC office of the National Cattlemen's Beef Association.
Hays and Woodall talked about the last minute passage of the Tax Extenders, the instructions given to USDA and EPA by Congress over issues like COOL, the Beef Checkoff and WOTUS and looked into 2015 the new year and how the first 90 days or so of 2015 may play out on Capitol Hill.
