ARA Conference Registration Opens with New Schedule

The Agricultural Retailers Association (ARA) opened registration with a rejuvenated schedule for its annual Conference & Expo, to be held Dec. 3-5 in Houston, Texas.

ARA Board Chair Amy Asmus, co-owner of Asmus Farm Supply, encourages industry leaders to join the conversations at the ARA Conference this year:

“The ever-changing landscape of ag retail presents us with many opportunities as well as challenges. Attendees will leave knowing how to evaluate and react to fluctuations in a way that helps their businesses and our industry thrive.”

Powering Ag Retail’s Next Frontier is this year’s theme to honor our host city’s reputation as the energy capital of the world while reflecting our industry’s dedication to building a brighter future in agriculture for generations to come.

“Those who have been to the ARA Conference in recent years will see a few changes that we hope will bring an even more positive experience to our attendees,” says ARA President & CEO Daren Coppock.

By starting the General Session with keynote speaker messages on Tuesday rather than on Wednesday, ARA is dedicating Thursday morning to special programming in the Expo.

“The most notable change will be attendees gathering around a stage set in the center of the Expo on Thursday morning to hear inspiring stories on leadership, teamwork, and safety from retired astronaut Mike Mullane before concluding ARA Conference week with a tour of a major port in Houston,” says Coppock.

Another change is that Wednesday breakout sessions will run concurrently rather than back-to-back. One breakout session will tackle Carbon Intensity scoring and another will share what the agriculture industry can expect following the 2024 elections.

Early bird registration rates end Oct. 15. To learn more about the 2024 ARA Conference & Expo, go to www.aradc.org/conference
