Senior Farm and Ranch Broadcaster, Ron Hays, got the chance to visit with Addyson Schneberger from the Carnegie FFA Chapter about the upcoming National FFA Convention this week where she will be representing the state of Oklahoma in the National FFA Creed contest.
Addyson won the State FFA Creed contest this spring and has been polishing her delivery since that time.
“It is just something I have been around my entire life, and I have been very passionate about,” Schneberger said.
Schneberger said she was always excited to have the chance to compete in saying the FFA creed, and she is thankful for the success she has faced so far. Aside from saying the creed, Schneberger said contestants must also answer questions about their speech.
“These creed questions can be very in-depth, and some of them can be very simple to answer, but I have learned so much about the agricultural industry, learning about the questions and just trying to further my knowledge in the industry and also the FFA organization, so I can hopefully answer any kind of question they throw my way,” Schneberger said.
