WEEKLY HARVEST REPORT – June 14, 2024
USDA estimates winter wheat production at 1.29 billion bushels (35.2 MMT), an increase of 1% from last month; spring
and durum wheat production estimates are expected in July. Hot weather is accelerating HRW harvest and crop
maturity; the first 45 HRW samples from Texas and Oklahoma have arrived at the lab for testing. The SRW harvest is 14%
complete and preliminary data is included in this week’s report. The HRS and durum crops have mostly emerged and
are in excellent condition so far. The PNW SW crop is progressing and looks healthy.
